Hydraulic hose repairs are often necessary for maintaining the working efficiency of your machinery. They can become worn or damaged over time due to high pressures, extreme temperatures and harsh environments, leading to costly production downtime. Regular inspections of hydraulic hoses should be done at least once per year, or more often if possible. This will help detect any issues before they cause a malfunctioning of the equipment.

Common Hydraulic Hose Issues

We are able to address the following:

1. Hose kinking: Hydraulic hoses are susceptible to kinking, which can cause the inner diameter to collapse and restrict fluid flow in the system.

2. Abrasion: Caused from rubbing against other components or surfaces, which can result in weakening of the hose material and eventual failure.

3. Pressure surges: Pressure surges can occur when a valve is suddenly closed or opened, causing an increase in pressure that can exceed the burst rating of the hose and lead to premature failure.

4. Contamination: Particles such as dust, grit and moisture can enter the system and build up inside the hose—eventually leading to clogs and blockages that reduce flow or cause complete failure.

5. Temperature extremes: Excessive heat or cold can cause the rubber of the hose to become brittle and crack, leading to a loss of pressure and potential system failure.
